> Eva's Resume (in Word format)

Eva is a free spirit who has only recently managed to settle down. She's lived all over the east and mid-west, including stints in Maryland, New Jersey, Michigan, Massachusetts, New York, and (now) Virginia. For the record: Both John Kerry and Ted Kennedy have asked that she NOT return to Massachusetts. Something about her being a Republican school teacher...?

Research Scientist

Eva graduated from the University of Michigan with a BS in BioChemistry and immediately set out to save the world by joining the fight against cancer and other diseases. She's worked at the Rockefeller Institute in NYC, National Cancer Institute (NCI) Research Center in Bethesda, MD and at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD. After a few years in research, she decided on making a change and pursued teaching as a new career.

Teaching

Eva received her Masters in Secondary Education from Harvard University. She's taught Chemistry in Boston public schools and in Virginia private schools, but has found the students' lack of discipline and respect for authority a difficult challenge to teaching. Instead of fighting the system, she changed focus on marketing her patented "Student Whack-a-Mole" system now being trialed in many inner-city school districts (um, not really).

BioChemistry

After years of slave labor in teaching, Eva was forced into making tons of money in BioChem sales for Clontech, Becton-Dickinson, and Fermentes. Even though no one actually knows what "NucleoSpin Extract Kits" or "QTag ROX-free DNA Polymerases" really are, strangely there seem to be plenty of people who line up to BUY them. Eva can (even now) TALK with these people in a language they apparently understand. Weird.

Motherhood

Shortly after the birth of Abigail Faith Sanborn, Eva found she had begun what would be a new life-long career: motherhood. Luckily, it seems to be the one she most enjoys and is very well suited for. Naturally, Abigail is doing her best to make things "easy" for "Mom", including staying up all night, refusing any food other than apple sauce (or breast-feeding), and creating a myriad of daily challenges. Ah, true joy!
